Talveks sooja/Something warm for winter

Viimaks ometi on midagi valmis saanud - olgu peaaegu valmis.

Muster: Marlaina Bird Trail Hoodie (ravelry lingid).
Lõng: Rowan RYC Cashsoft DK
Vardad: 3.25, 3.75mm
Kulu: 13 tokki

So at last it's finished! And I love it. It's warm and cosy and exactly what I need with this kind of weather [it's around -10 degrees C -( 14 F) and so much snow that you can die from it]. Oh.. actually it's real nice outside so not that many complaints about that really.
About this jacket. When I first saw this pattern in ravelry, I just fell in love with it. I had thought about wanting to test knit something and this was my chance. So I signed up for it and was really excited about getting started with it.
So I found this pretty and soft yarn in Karnaluks wholesale depot. And I bought one full packages, that is 10 skeins. But of course it wasn't enough for me. So I went back to ask when they will order it more (because I bought all of it last time) and they said that color is discontinued. What will I do now? I had already started to knit .. I think I had back piece ready so I wasn't really that keen on raveling it and also getting new yarn.
So I started looking for the yarn in ravelry. Found the yarn. And after PM with many women I found one person willing to sell her stash. But it was only 2 skeins, which still wouldn't be enough. Oh well.. better that then nothing. I order it from her and found another person who was willing to sell me her skeins. A month went by and still no yarn.. from my second order I got it in a week. Happy with that! At last I was able to knit again. But I was short. Luckily I was able to get more of that yarn from my lovely yarnlady (she was awfully nice), from Staci. But that ment that I still had to wait few weeks for the yarn to arrive. But in the end it was all good! I got to finish my jacket. I still haven't found perfect buttons and pockets need lining but I just couldn't wait any longer to show it to you.

Special thanks to Staci from Ohio!!

  2. Su kampsuni valmimise saaga on üks neist tõestustest, mis näitab, et edasiviiv jõud on "tahe". Töö ka muidugi. Kampsun on hiilgav!
